The Shelton Plumb Memorial Library, a picturesque 1895 brownstone and outstanding example of Romanesque architecture, features a beautiful atrium in its historic section. This vestibule has a brick fireplace and cathedral ceiling. ORGC and Plumb Memorial staff took advantage of this ideal setting to feature a Christmas tree.
ORGC members donated ornaments, and an ad-hoc committee chaired by Judy Pavone, assembled to coordinate the decorating. Holly Secskas, Donna Kay Pensiero, and Patti Leung joined Judy to trim the donated tree with lights and the provided ornaments.
The finished tree shelters a toy train on wooden tracks, and handmade baskets of seasonal greens complete the room.
We hope you’ll stop by and enjoy the festive decorations!
